Artsweek is UNSW's annual celebration of the arts and creativity. It is held across both the Kensington and COFA campuses.

Artsweek aims to embrace and engage with all the arts-based organisations, clubs and activities that exist in and around UNSW, and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talents and resources.

    UNSWeetened is a collection of the best entries into the Arc's literary competition. Come along to the launch of this year's publication and hear the winning pieces read out by their authors, grab your copy of unsweetened 2008, and partake in some free drinks and nibblies.

  • Artsweek Workshops

    Pottery, Hoola Hooping, Circus Skills, Comedy, African Drumming, DJ, 80s Dance – Artsweek is offering free workshops throughout Week 5.

    PLUS Art, music and performance all around both campuses – keep and eye out for art in lifts, the Main Walkway, the Quad, footpaths, the Basser Steps, the Roundhouse, and the COFA courtyard. More info soon!

  • Competitions

    Lens Life
    Lens Life photographic competition is the perfect opportunity for all budding UNSW and COFA photographers to show their works and win great prizes. The competition culminates in an exhibition held during Artsweek in Week 5. Entrants must capture their student life in 24 images using a supplied disposable camera. Entrants for the digital section must capture their student life with a maximum of three photos.
    Register for a disposable camera at Arc reception Blockhouse or COFA. Only 30 Cameras available.
    All entries close 13 August. For more information email s.kunstelj@arc.unsw.edu.au.

  • UNSW Sounds Project
    The UNSW Sounds Project is a brand new compilation CD dedicated to showcasing UNSW musical talent and giving professional exposure and opportunities to UNSW musicians and sound artists. Successful entrants will be decided by an esteemed panel of judges and will have their work included in the first ever UNSW Sounds Project CD which will be distributed by Arc across the Kensington and COFA campuses.
    Successful entrants will be informed before the Artsweek Launch Party on Monday 25 August at the UNSW Roundhouse.

The facilitates interaction between students, UNSW and the community. We provide services and advocacy for issues and groups such as:

Kudos Gallery is an exhibition space, run by students for students and located one minute away from the COFA campus.

Exhibitions are held throughout the year, usually opening on a Tuesday night.
