CONTACT, or the CONTACT Information and Referral Centre (as it is officially known), is a free service for students and the wider UNSW community. It provides you with a friendly place to obtain information on just about anything. If you have a question, the volunteers at CONTACT can answer it. If they can’t, they’ll refer you to someone who can. CONTACT provides support and resources for the entire student population.
Volunteer for CONTACT
CONTACT is staffed by trained volunteers who each give an hour of their week to answer enquiries. The volunteers are trained in campus knowledge, student services, Arc @ UNSW information, customer service, looking after students at risk, finding and utilising resources, and answering a broad range of enquiries with confidence.
CONTACT Location
CONTACT is located on the second floor of the Quad Building, East Wing (that’s the side closest to the Basser Steps – you know the ones… the oh-so-long flight of stairs leading up to the library from the Quad).
Alternatively, enter the Quad Building from the Ground floor, take the lift to Level 2, and turn to your right.
Remember, even if you’re not on campus, we can still look after you!
