International Cookbook Competition

The annual release of the UNSW International Cookbook is always massive and features yummy food and prizes. 2007’s celebrity guest judge was Mark Jensen from Red Lantern and the Channel 10 show “Ready, Steady, Cook” who awarded prizes and cooked for the hundreds who turned out!
 
The International Cookbook celebrates the cultural diversity of UNSW by featuring recipes that are shared with personal anecdotes describing the special meanings intrinsic to the processes of preparing, serving and enjoying food from a variety of cultures.

The Cookbook is produced by a team of student volunteers who work closely with Arc staff members to select and edit recipes and contribute to publication design. Roles include editors, communications assistant, and photographer.

The competition includes three categories : Best Starter, Main, and Dessert with the winners announced during the International Cookbook Launch 2009 to be held in Week 10:
