The Shack Tutoring Program

The Shack Tutoring Program provides tutoring for high school students from the local community on campus. Shack Tutoring is not only extremely popular with UNSW students but with high school students. The program is run in partnership with the Shack Youth Services at Maroubra as part of their outreach services.

One reason for its popularity and high regard in the local community is its flexibility around your schedule, with tutoring held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays between 3.30 and 6.00pm.

Other students have become serial tutors because of the one on one contact with a student, which provides a strong sense of satisfaction when they improve and show progress.

Another reason that Shack Tutoring is a well worn record for many UNSW students is the mentoring, training, and leadership experience it provides for future employment.

The facilitates interaction between students, UNSW and the community. We provide services and advocacy for issues and groups such as:

Kudos Gallery is an exhibition space, run by students for students and located one minute away from the COFA campus.

Exhibitions are held throughout the year, usually opening on a Tuesday night.
