Practical Install // Workshop – KUDOS Gallery, Paddington

Learn how to install artworks of all shapes and sizes - as well as how to de-install correctly! We will teach you the basics of picture hanging and mounting, patching and painting, identifying and managing risk, and procedures for handling and installing difficult or non-traditional artworks! Suitable for artists, curators and designers who are novice installers, or those looking for a skills refresh!

This workshop will be run by Jesse Rye, an emerging artist based in Sydney whose practice approaches phenomenology, crip theory and affect. Jesse has provided technical install support for ARIs such as Kil.n.it, Verge, and Firstdraft.
