Student Cookbook

The Student Cookbook is an annual publication compiled from recipes submitted by UNSW Students. The 2011 edition of the Student Cookbook will see sustainability at its core, with a growing awareness about the origins of the food we eat.

The Cookbook aims to retrace the path of food from the farmyard to the consumer and in doing so celebrates the infinite benefits of eating locally and seasonally.

The annual launch of the Cookbook, held in May each year, is always a highly anticipated event, featuring a variety of fantastic food and prizes. But of course the highlight of the event is always the revealing of that year's Cookbook, free for everyone to take home and enjoy.

Make sure to keep an eye on Blitz Magazine, Arc's ultimate What's On guide, so you don't miss out!

The Cookbook is produced by a team of student volunteers under the leadership of the Student Cookbook Coordinator. The team works closely with Arc staff members to select and edit recipes and contribute to the publication's design. The Student Cookbook Coordinator is a paid position recruited in November each year (check out the Arc Jobs Page on this website to keep up to date on all our amazing employment opportunities).

The volunteer team in 2011 is made up of the following key roles: co-editor, marketing and sponsorship officer, graphic designer and photographer.
