vHub: creating reasonably entertaining student videos for you to watch in lectures.
Lighthearted interviews, uni events footage, short films.

Videos are created by our filmographer Tom Montefiore and a team of volunteer prodigies. Videos are then uploaded to Youtube.

vHub is looking for volunteers willing to create and produce short videos about UNSW events or other student related content from start to finish with the help of the Filmmaker and vHub Coordinator. Videos will be uploaded to the Arc You Tube channel throughout session. Applicants must be committed, enthusiastic with the desire to learn or further their skills in creating, producing and editing videos for students at UNSW.

Training, access to camera equipment and an editing suite will be provided.
Skills developed in this program include:  using a range of camera and sound equipment, idea creation, filming, interviewing and developing a range of skills associated with producing and editing videos/films.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 hours a week during session
  • If a student completes 20 hours of volunteering with vHub over the course of the year this will be recognised on their AHEGS

Applications to volunteer for vHub for Semester 1 are closed. HOWEVER we encourage you to leave your details with us because more and more vopportunities will arise for more volunteers to get involed this session.
