vHub: creating reasonably entertaining student
videos for you to watch in lectures.
Lighthearted interviews, uni events footage, short films.
Videos are created by our filmographer Guy Verge Wallace and a team of volunteer prodigies. Videos are then uploaded to Youtube.
Check out the Arc YouTube Channel for our latest vids.
Also we dare you to like our facebook page.
We encourage you get involved: watch the videos and maybe even join the volunteering program.
vHub is looking for volunteers willing to create and produce short videos about UNSW events or other student related content from start to finish with the help of the Filmmaker and vHub Coordinator. Videos will be uploaded to the Arc You Tube channel throughout session. Applicants must be committed, enthusiastic with the desire to learn or further their skills in creating, producing and editing videos for students at UNSW.
Training, access to camera equipment and an editing suite will
be provided.
Skills developed in this program include: using a range of
camera and sound equipment, idea creation, filming, interviewing
and developing a range of skills associated with producing and
editing videos/films.
Volunteer Requirements:
The vHub volunteer program is currently full - applications will re-open in mid-April so check back then.
If you create your own videos and would like to show other Uni students, the Student Connection can host your videos. Just tag them "unswtv" and they will appear on the UNSW Student Channel.
