Arc @ UNSW is currently seeking suitably qualified applicants to be part of our successful retail chain.
The successful applicant will be customer service focused , enthusiastic, and proactive. You will be expected to perform day to day retail and management functions such as; manage the retail outlet, open and close the store, deal with customer service and complaints, cash handling, stock take, staff rostering, staff training, supervise casual retail staff, monitor sales targets, sales and merchandising, and ensure all OHS and safety standards are met.
This position is very hands on and the successful candidate will be highly motivated, experienced in customer service and confident. This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to continue their career in retail, and also be closely connected to motivating staff and assisting them to reach store sales targets!

Selection Criteria - Essential
- Strong customer service focus and good interpersonal skills;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position or supervisory role;
- Demonstrated managerial skills, with experience in a similar role;
- Ability to work with minimum supervision under sometimes very busy periods;
- Experience in a similar organisational environment, with knowledge of and ability to adhere to retail systems and procedures ;
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills;
- Demostrated cash handling skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and to interact successfully with key stakeholders;
- Well developed oral and written communication skills;
- Understanding and awareness of cultural diversity issues;
- Commitment to ethical work practices, OHS and knowledge of privacy and hospitality regulations and legislation;
- Ability to maintain integrity of confidential information.
Desirable:
- Previous independent store experience;
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalent.
