Charity Concert

Phil' does good. Will you ?

On May 18th we held our inaugural Phil' Charity Concert, bringing together the entire UNSW for a night of FUNdraising!

We had 21 student performances that highlighted how much talent we have on this campus! The variety was awesome - martial arts, musical theatre, dance, singing, beat boxing, ensembles, solo musicians, and more! Thank you to everyone who got involved and donated their time and their talent!! A big thank you to the UNSW clubs and societies that performed too:
- String Ensemble
- K-Pop
- Medical Music Society
- Taido Club
- AND MORE...

The Child Life and Music Therapists from the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick came to the concert too and told us about the work that they do and how the money raised helps. They also gave us a demonstration of Music Therapy led by Music Therapist, Matt, and the team who got the  whole audience singing Katy Perry's 'Roar.' The team had a surprise for us too - they made the most beautiful video showing just some of the kids at the hospital who directly benefit from their time spent with the Child Life and Music Therapy team and thanked Phil' for the help we provide. We can't wait to share the video with the UNSW community - thank you so much to the whole team who made it happen!

Raffle Prizes - Drawn at the Concert:
