7 February 2018

Powerhouse metalcore band Northlane are set to return to their proverbial home in March, 2018.

Northlane are a favourite at Roundhouse, having previously performed at the venue to a sold-out crowd during their 2016 tour Monster. Since then, the band has toured the UK, Europe, Canada and South America with their latest album Mesmer. The album received a raft of acclaim, described by Rolling Stone as “the highest tier of cutting-edge metal” and it has propelled them to their status as one of Australia’s most successful heavy metal exports.

The band’s sound is evolving with their hallmark unorthodox and exhilarating musicianship, delighting metal fans with a re-imagined approach to the genre of heavy metal. Their recent unique sonics developed when they spent time in German forests writing and composing new music after finishing up a string of performances over summer in Scandinavia.

After extensive renovations over the past two years, we are excited to host Northlane as one of the first live gigs since our return. They will be an unholy Christening of one of Australia’s most famous metal venues to mark the return of Sydney’s home of metalcore. Northlane will perform songs from their most recent albums Mesmer and Node, along with some of their newest singles.

They will be supported by local talents Justice for the Dammed, Resist the Thought and DVSR.Northlane will perform live at Roundhouse, Kensington on March 16th at 7PM.
