Volunteering – get involved!

Each year the Arc coordinates an extensive range of activities, programs and events.

More than 400 members are needed to volunteer to assist with the running these activities and events.

The Arc promotes activities for members that help them to develop in the areas of leadership, communication and creativity in a fun environment. Training and Certificates of Participation are provided to recognise the effort that each individual puts into the programs.

Arc @ UNSW provides many opportunities for volunteers and helps students to choose the most suitable options for developing their skills and engaging their interests.

These programs are acknowledged by the University on your ‘Secondary Testamur’ upon graduating. These attributes put you ahead of the rest when applying for that graduate job.

Programs include:

Volunteers develop their own skills and the skills of others in the community. It also provides a great sense of achievement and is heaps of fun.

As an Arc member, you have access to all clubs and societies on this campus free of charge. Some popular clubs include:

The Arc employs student support officers and a solicitor to provide Arc members with support and advocacy on issues both within and outside the University.
