Help to make the International Rowing Regatta a success and get to watch the best of international rowing including Olympic and World Champion athletes!

When: 25-31 March 2019

Where: The International Regatta Centre, Penrith

What: We are all working really hard to make this event an amazing event, to welcome the athletes in the best condition and offer them a great experience. We also aim to create a real experience for the local community and invite everyone from the area to be involved in the success of this international event. Volunteering for this event is also helping to make Australia the best rowing nation in the world. By enhancing the athletes experience you will play a big part in the race for gold for Australia at the Olympics!

Spectator Services Roles – minimum of 2 shifts

Volunteers will assist with controlling entry and exit points at the event such as checking tickets and accreditation and providing general information and directions to spectators to ensure spectators have a great and safe experience.

If you enjoy engaging with people and providing customer service and making people smile, these roles are for you.

Rowing related Roles minimum of 2 shifts

Volunteers will assist in roles that help us run the competition effectively and ensures competitors have a great experience. No rowing experience is required but an interest in sport in general is a plus.

Rowing related roles include:

  • Time Keeper - Are you very detail oriented? This is the perfect role :)
  • Boat holderAre you fit and want to get in the heart of the action? This role is the perfect fit
