This five week evening course will teach you all the basics you need. Underwater rugby is an action-packed, 3D, weightless sport played with a water-filled ball, mask and snorkel in a swimming pool. You've got to hold your breath, dive down and tackle opponents to score a goal in the basket at the bottom of the pool.
Underwater rugby was invented by German divers looking for away to keep fit in winter, but has now taken over the world. The team at UNSW was the first in Australia, and we now have teams in 7 cities across the country.
This 5 week introduction course will teach you everything you need to know to compete. Everyone is welcome to come along, make new friends, and try out an exciting new sport!
