Join Volunteers United and the Arc team for a vibrant Respect Week activation all about gender equity, inclusion, and community. Respect Week is all about building a campus culture of respect, empathy, and connection - and this event brings that to life through interactive, student-led activities.

You’ll be supporting Walk in Her Shoes, a fun and impactful race raising awareness for women’s safety, alongside an EDI craft stall where students can express themselves through pronoun badge making, junk journaling, and zine creation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting Walk in Her Shoes by helping coordinate the race, encouraging participants, and creating a high-energy, welcoming atmosphere
  • Assisting at the EDI craft stall with activities like pronoun badge making, junk journaling, and zine creation
  • Helping set up and pack down, manage materials, and keep the space organised and inviting for students
