Arc UNSW has teamed up with MediBank to offer UNSW International Students some great experiences to get out and see Sydney while staying fit and making new friends!
Come experience the beautiful scenery Blue Mountains has to offer! While this trip is usually priced at $70+, Global Sport is offering this opportunity for only $20! This includes transport, lunch and a guided tour of the amazing natural wonder of the Blue Mountains, including beautiful rainforests and waterfalls. This hike should be about 3-4hours long, so plenty of time to soak in the scenery.
Two of these hikes will be run, on June 3rd and June 17th. Keep an eye out for tickets, as they'll be in high demand!
What you need to know:
- The hike is approximately 8-10km, or about 3-4 hours walking time, including plenty of time to stop at some lovely viewing locations.
- This hike is run by EmuTrekkers, which is a not-for-profit, so all the proceeds go towards disadvantaged children. Find out more about the organisation here: https://www.emutrekkers.org/.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Sturdy shoes for walking (they will get dirty)
- A backpack
- At least 2L water
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Rain jacket/umbrella
- Warm jacket/fleece
- Layers of clothes
- Snacks
