The Pyjama Foundation supports children in foster care through educational programs and mentoring, helping them build brighter futures.
Join Volunteers United and The Pyjama Foundation for a heartwarming card-writing session where you'll create birthday cards for foster children celebrating as Pyjama Angels of the Year. Each card will be bundled with a book and sent as a special birthday gift to children aged 2, 5, and 10 years old in foster care. Your thoughtful messages will bring joy and encouragement to children who need to feel valued and celebrated.
What you'll be doing:
- Writing personalised birthday cards for foster children
- Creating age-appropriate messages for 2, 5, and 10-year-olds
- Using prompts and templates to craft meaningful cards
- Contributing to birthday bundles that include books and cards
Shift Details
Location: On-campus (room TBA)
Date: Wednesday, 8th July
Volunteer shift: 11:00 am–3:00 pm
