International Food Competition

The first international food competition at UNSW is happening this year! Are you ready to share your favourite food recipe and win? The Postgraduate Council has organised this competition to celebrate International Food Day, and you are invited to share your favourite cultural recipe with us!

Submit Your Recipe
  • Postgraduate
  • International

Choose any recipe that represents you and your culture. You can use any ingredients you like but remember this is a student competition and we want to see recipes that work for student budgets and kitchens.

Each recipe will have to include:
1- Your name, zID and the name of the recipe.
2- A short description of the recipe in the form of a short video or a word doc with photographs (taken by you) included.
3- The ingredients, including quantities.
4- A Step-by-step guide to the recipe.
5- Any related sustainability tips for substitute ingredients, how to reduce food waste, or recommended ingredient brands.

How we’ll judge the entries:
1- Feasibility and accessibility for students
2- How well the recipe is presented
3- The sustainability action included in the recipe

Who can participate?
Participation is open to all UNSW students including undergraduate, postgraduate, domestic and international students.

How to participate? For applying, fill out this form, and submit your recipe.
