KWCF | Sydney Marathon Drink Station Volunteer

Kids with Cancer Foundation Australia is a national charity dedicated to supporting children diagnosed with cancer and their families. It provides practical assistance such as financial aid, care packs, and bespoke wigs, while also funding hospital programs, clinical positions, and vital research. The organisation’s mission is to improve the daily lives of families facing childhood cancer and create lasting impact through both immediate support and long-term investment in treatment and care.

Join the KWCF team at Drink Station #4 near Sydney's Martin Place Metro for some amazing fun and excitement on Sydney Marathonf day! Our drink station serving water is the place to be as runners scoot through the city towards the Finish Line!

When: Sunday 30th August 2026

Where: Across the road from Martin Place Metro, 9 Castlereagh Street

Time: It's an early one! 5.45am until approx 1.00pm

Job Role: Filling paper cups with water, levels high on trestle tables, 3 levels high, divided with corflute. Continuous filling of cups from 7am-1pm, cheering runners and KWCF Fundraisers along with pom poms, event clean-up.  

Bring: Water bottle, extra snacks, a warm jacket for the early start

Note: You will be given a Pont3 Sydney Marathon Volunteer t-shirt to wear at the station for the session which you will be able to keep! Small snacks are provided by Pont3, but we always recommend to bring more.
