What is included?
Supporting bees can benefit gardens and the green spaces around us. Bee hotels can provide a safe nesting space for solitary bees, which are important pollinators for many plants, flowers and food gardens. They’re also a great addition if you have a garden, balcony, courtyard, shared outdoor space or even a little spot with plants at home.
In this workshop, you’ll learn what bee hotels are, why they can be helpful, and how to place them responsibly so they can support bees without causing harm. You’ll also decorate your own bee hotel to bring home and use in your own green space.
This workshop is for anyone who likes making things, learning something new, caring for plants, supporting biodiversity, or just taking a break from study with a low-pressure activity. You don’t need to know anything about bees or gardening — we’ll walk you through it!
