VU x Bunnings BBQ with Sydney Wildlife Rescue

Sydney Wildlife Rescue rescues, rehabilitates, and releases sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife across Sydney. Funds raised directly support their rescue and care operations.

Join Volunteers United and Sydney Wildlife Rescue for a fun, high-energy day running a Bunnings BBQ fundraiser. You'll help grill burgers and sausages, serve customers, and raise vital funds to support wildlife rescue and rehabilitation in Sydney. Whether you commit to a few hours or a full day, your efforts directly support animals in need.

What you'll be doing:

• Grilling burgers and sausages
• Taking orders and serving customers
• Managing the BBQ station
• Raising funds for wildlife rescue programs

Shift Details

Location: Bunnings Alexandria, 8-40 Euston Road (northeast corner of carpark, between main entrance and Garden Centre; under cover) 

Date: Sunday, 5th July 

Volunteer shifts: 8:00 am–4:00 pm 

Volunteers needed: Flexible shifts available
