VU x Parramatta Half Marathon with Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation

Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation is the exclusive charity partner for the brand-new Parramatta Half Marathon, supporting sick kids and their families.

Join Volunteers United and Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation for an exciting opportunity to volunteer at the inaugural Parramatta Half Marathon. As a volunteer, you'll create a lasting impact not just for the runners but also change the future for sick kids. Participants, family, and friends will be offered the opportunity to show their support for the volunteers who made the event possible, directly impacting fundraising efforts.

What you'll be doing:

• Bib collection - helping runners collect their race numbers
• Shirt collection - distributing event t-shirts to participants
• Bag drop management - organising runners' belongings
• Course marshalling - guiding and supporting runners

Event Details

Location: CommBank Stadium, Parramatta 

Date: Saturday, 20th June 

Volunteer shift:

• 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
• 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Volunteers needed: 20 volunteers

What you'll receive:

• Exclusive event crew t-shirt to keep
• Snacks and hydration throughout your shift
• Pre-event briefing from race organisers (date TBC, communicated after registration)

How to register:

All volunteers must register individually via the njuko platform (https://in.njuko.com/parramatt...) for safety reasons, including emergency contact details. 

Select the Saturday Afternoon shift (20/06/2026, 12:00 pm–4:00 pm) at CommBank Stadium.
