Basketball

Is ballin' your thing?

With over 200 members, the UNSW Basketball Club is one of the largest on campus.

Whether you're a gunner scoring three pointers or a beginner, the Club offers both competitive and social opportunities.

What you can expect:

Arc Basketball runs weekly social training sessions + competitive scrimmages for beginners to advanced basketball players. Basketball is a great sport for both competitive and social activities. All of the weekly sessions are planned with an inclusive and fun frame of mind to ensure everyone can join in and have some fun, while still maintaining a level of competitiveness! There is an occasional social outing as well as trials for higher level competitive events like Unigames and Intervaristy events.

Competition/ Social Games

If there is enough interest, the club hopes to form social teams which will have weekly games in the local area. These will be graded so you play against people of the same level as you !

Players can either be put in teams with friends or if your new to it all we’ll throw you in with a great new bunch of ballers !

This club is not in charge for running trials for the UniGames Basketball team, however, participation in this club will aid individual preparation/training for the UniGames.
