A message from the President

I would like to start by congratulating the UNSW Community for being ranked as one of the Top 20 Universities in world according to the QS World Rankings. This recognises UNSW's globally leading role and something we can all be proud of.!

For us at the PGC, this achievement is a testament to the calibre and dedication of the UNSW Community including yourselves. For the Postgrad Coursework community, we recently awarded the PGC's Coursework Awards to recognise some of these individuals. Details of award recipients and pictures from the Ceremony can be accessed via here. Thank you to the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy VC Education, Pro-VC Education, Arc and others for supporting our Awards.

We look forward to handing out our PGC Research Awards this coming August and thank everyone for the 150+ nominations we've received for it.

This month we ran our second Sydney to Canberra trip bringing over 30 postgrads from Sydney to Canberra to connect them with students there and will be having our Monthly Social Mixer at the Roundhouse on 30th June. Register for the mixer via Eventbrite.

Early in July Australia will celebrate NAIDOC week to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Arc is running multiple events in celebration of this, limited free tickets available. Register now via here .

We will also be having other social events in July which you can find below.

Stay warm and all the best for the rest of your term!

Anthony P. Sunjaya

President, Postgraduate Council UNSW
