PGC x HKABA Career Development Workshop

Equity

Post-grad fest was a huge success with our Equity team collaborating with Arc to host 3 events: Post-grads and parenting, wine and cheese night, and a mental health panel.

Canberra

From 15/12/2021-27/06/2022, there were roughly 400 postgraduate students with one student club, Arc Canberra. Due to the pandemic, many postgraduates intend to work from home, and up to 14 postgrads often attend the activity. With Arc Canberra's effort, there are many more postgrads engaging in the activities. As Canberra Campus Officer of PGC, my strategy is to raise awareness of the presence of PGC and strengthen the relationship between PGC Sydney and PGC Canberra.

A remarkable event happened: 16th June 2022- One-day trip to UNSW Sydney to attend Postgrad Fest. Confirmed event in collaboration with Research Committee: 7th Sept 2022: One-day trip to UNSW Canberra. Expected trip: 15th October Final year-Undergraduate ADFA/UNSW-Postgraduate UNSW: a two-day trip to join PGC cruise In progress: Food hub and PGC/Arc Canberra SWAP AND GIVEAWAY (ZERO WASTE) FACEBOOK GROUP.

Come Forward to Help a Future Scientist

One of our PhD students, Md. Zahidur Rahaman, from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, has been diagnosed with 'Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease', and 93% of his kidney function is ceased, which means he needs an urgent kidney transplant. Come forward to help a future scientist.
