Mental Health Services

On Campus or Online

UNSW offers a wide range of resources, both in person and online, to those struggling with mental health issues.

Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

The website for CAPS is available online at here.

The physical location of the service on the Kensington Campus is at Level 2 of the East Wing, Quadrangle building, and it’s open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. On the Paddington Campus, it can be found in Room G106, G Block, on the corner of Oxford St and Greens Rd.

Mental Wellbeing Support

The Mental Wellbeing Support is a depository of self-help resources collated by the university, designed to improve mental health. They can be found online here.

UNSW Psychology Clinic

The UNSW Psychology Clinic functions as a way of training and teaching postgraduate students of the UNSW School of Psychology, who are supervised by experienced psychologists. It is not suitable for individuals that are in immediate crisis, or acutely suicidal. The service is available on the 8th level of the Mathews Building on UNSW’s Kensington campus, and their website is available here.
