Volunteer Army is recruiting a group of dedicated individuals with a passion for social justice and the environment to inspire students to get involved in volunteering! Volunteering as a captain is an exciting opportunity to plan and promote creative community projects and events, develop yourself as a mentor and leader and spend time with a fantastic group of enthusiastic volunteers, all while having a meaningful impact!
Volunteer Army is currently recruiting for the following leadership roles:
- 2 Media and Communications Captains to organise promotional activities, run social events and develop content for the Volunteer Army website, facebook and newsletter.
- 3 Event Captains to plan and run large scale events which support range of social and environmental causes in partnership with not for profit organisations.
- 2 Project Captains to develop and implement a range of projects with small teams of volunteers which have a meaningful impact within the community.
All Volunteer Army Captains will have their hours accredited to their AHEGS (Australian Higher Education Graduation Certificate).
