Good Deed Days is a your chance to dip your toes into volunteering thanks to the Volunteer Army. It is your chance to connect with not-for-profit community organisations in one huge week of helping.

Knit with Love

Knit squares that will be made into blankets for the homeless and elderly homes. In collaboration with UNSW's KnitSoc, come along no matter your skill level - learn the basics of knitting with us!

Cards with Care Zoom Sessions

Meet fellow vollies while writing a Card with Care to the elderly, healthcare workers, and hospital patients. Each Card with Care session will have you writing messages of care to different community groups so you can attend multiple sessions.

Headbands for Healthcare workers

Run by our Phil' coordinator Steph. Learn how to make headbands to directly support frontline workers in easing the strain of wearing masks 24/7.

Peer volunteers with Fusion Culture Group

Build a connection with vulnerable members in our community, namely elderly and cultural minority groups. This will involve an interactive Zoom session with a range of activities, such as gestures and laughter workouts, and will be a whole bunch of fun!

Get It Sussed: Translating your volunteering experience in professional applications.

We will be joined by the awesome Career Development team to share a bunch of tips and tricks that will have you set to share your volunteering skills and experience like a pro.

Clean Up Your Local

Join us in coming together to spruce up your local neighbourhood. Meet fellow student volunteers through Zoom and then head out into your local neighbourhood to clean up!

Bushcare Randwick

Bushcare involves community volunteers working with Council to protect and regenerate our natural bushland. This is in person and dependent on COVID-19 restrictions as of Friday 10th July.
