A message from the President

This April we mark two important religious events - Easter and Ied. I hope for those celebrating the occasion has been filled with joy and provided a good respite.

The term is coming to an end. For Coursework students, the PGC wishes you all the best for your exams ahead!

Over the past month, the PGC has representing postgraduates at UNSW submitted a Submission to the Universities Accord Australian Government Panel which is shaping the future of higher education in Australia. I would like to personally thank the PGC Taskforce Co-Chair Isabelle Greco and the members of the panel for their hard work the past few weeks in developing our submission based on your responses to the PGC Surveys and engagement with students and UNSW Management Board.

The PGC Coursework Needs Survey remain open and we want to hear from you!

Nominations are closing soon for the PGC Coursework Awards - if you want to recognise your friends, course convenors and tutors that have made a difference to your study at UNSW, now is the time. Nominations only take a few minutes.

As always, Morning Teas continue to run every Wednesday at 10AM in the PGC Lounge and requires no reservation. See some pictures from our recent International Women's Day morning tea in this month's newsletter.

Wishing you all the best for your exams and project this month! See you on campus and online!

Anthony P. Sunjaya

President, Postgraduate Council UNSW
