On Wednesday 25th of June the Arc Board of Directors elected their Chair and Sub-Committee Chairs. Aania Cheema was elected to the Chair position. She is a third year Psychology student and has previously held the position of Convenor of the Student Development Committee. 

Aania said of her election

It’s an exciting time to be the Chair of Arc. We are currently completing our new Strategic Plan which will set the direction and domains for our next 3 years as an organisation and we are preparing to enable student experience under the new UNSW calendar. The Arc Board has achieved great things in the past 12 months under Oscar’s leadership and I am keen to continue ensuring that Arc delivers on our mission to create the best student experience.”  

Also elected at this week's Board meeting were:

• Student Development Committee Chair -  Alice Williams
• Audit & Risk Committee Chair - Eva Stewart
• Finance Committee Chair - Sam Baker 

Our sincerest thanks to our outgoing Chair Oscar Iredale and outgoing directors Oliver Pike, Ella Davidson, Mariam Reza who have now completed their 2 year terms, and Oliver Pike who completed 4 years as a Director including 1 year as Chair.
