The light rail stop on Anzac Parade is on our doorstep and will see services to and from the CBD every 8 minutes in 2020.
Sydney Light Rail has begun tram testing and is forecast to reach completion targets. Passenger services will begin operating from Kingsford to the CBD in March next year, connecting the Roundhouse directly to the city.
News of the impending completion has come as exciting news to the events community.
Tom Johannesen, Senior Booking Agent at New World Artists commented “The Roundhouse is one of our favourite venues in the country to see a band. Sound and lighting are world class and to finally be connected to the CBD will be a great thing for live music in Sydney.”
Millencolin, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Hockey Dad and Karnivool are among the acts to have played the venue recently, with upcoming shows in October from Northlane, Holy Holy and Lime Cordiale.
