Ocean Alley continue to take audiences by storm around the country and across the world with their infectious melody lines and memorable blend of psychedelic-surf-rock.

Armed with their acclaimed second album Chiaroscuro which debuted at #15 on the ARIA Chart, and was awarded the coveted triple j Feature Album spot, the band has gone on to amass 15 million streams of the album worldwide, along with over 570,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and moving over 7000 units of the album in less than 6 months. It’s a mighty impressive feat for an independent artist. 

Going on to sell 13,000 tickets across 7 sold out shows on their Australian tour in April & May 2018, alongside playing all dates on Groovin The Moo, Ocean Alley have received widespread praise for their mesmerising live performances. Playing the GW McLennan tent at Splendour In The Grass in July, triple j claimed that "Ocean Alley are really, really hard to fault, and their first-ever Splendour set was, accordingly, pretty much faultless”. They went on to say "the tent was probably at 120% capacity, spilling out well beyond the guide-ropes and pushing up against some (understandably frustrated) Splendour market stallholders”.  

The band will return to Europe and the UK in September for a run of headline shows and festivals, their first tour of the regions since their inaugural visit in 2016. They’ll also return to North America in November for a run of dates across the USA and Canada, supporting long-time friend Tash Sultana. 

Before they do though, Ocean Alley will play a handful of headline shows across Australia in October; Part 2 of their Album Tour at home. Venturing into markets they didn’t reach on their tour in April and May, the band will play shows in NSW at Yours & Owls Festival in Wollongong, as well as shows on the Central Coast and the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. They’ll also venture to the Gold Coast, Canberra and finally in Adelaide.
