Mosaic and Shack Student Coordinator

Location: The position works across the Kensington campus and the COFA campus, Paddington

Arc @ UNSW is currently seeking suitable applicants for the position of Student Coordinator for the Mosaic Fusion Forums & Shack Tutoring programs.

Make a difference by running Mosaic Fusion Forums and Shack Tutoring Programs in partnership with the Department of Education and Training. Educate and facilitate local high schools on cultural identity and diversity.

Selection Criteria - Essential

  • Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines;
  • Passionate about the ideas of the programs;
  • Demonstrated competent use of Windows XP and Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn new software programs;
  • Demonstrated project planning and administration skills, including experience in planning, overseeing and finalising the completion of projects;
  • Demonstrated leadership, managerial skills; including experience in a similar position;
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills;
  • Aptitude for report writing, data entry and composing professional correspondence, with demonstrated proficiency and experience with formatting reports and documentation;
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision under time constraints;

Desirable

  • Experience in volunteer programs or previous involvement in other campus activities;
  • Demonstrated understanding of cultural diversity issues and awareness;
  • Experience working with high school students;
  • Experience working with volunteers.
