Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineers (IEEE)

Club Aims:

1. To make our current and prospective members aware of the nature and responsibilities of the engineering profession and to provide and promote oppurtunies for educational, technical and professional development.

2. To represent within IEEE the interests and concerns of students in our University and facilitate interaction between students and IEEE organizational units.

3. To promote networking and the importance of relationship building to students.

2009 Club Activities:

1. Orientation week stall and welcome sessions.

2. Matlab and Simuliank Workshop

3. National Instrument Workshop

4. Poster competition for postgrad engineering students
5. AGM in August
