The Shivraj Ganasan Memorial Award is an Award that recognises students that work tirelessly within a Club or multiple Clubs, over a year, and quite often multiple years. The previously unsung heroes of the Clubs' experience at UNSW; that devote their all to Arc and its Clubs, who inspire others to get involved or to take charge; who frequently go over and above to achieve the best possible outcome and always seeks to balance everyone’s needs.
Purpose:
To recognise Club members who have made a significant contribution to a number of Arc’s affiliated Clubs over an extended period of time.
Criteria:
Exceptional contribution to student life based on the:
- The Club member made a significant contribution to the success of the Club/s over multiple years.
- The Club member’s dedication and overall contribution exceeds expectation
- The Club member is an inspirational and positive role model to other Club members
- Frequently goes over and above to support their Club and Club members an ongoing basis.
- Always has a strong focus on people and working to strike a balance between everyone’s needs.
- The Club member held leadership positions in one or more Clubs over multiple years.
- A commitment to the principles that underpin Arc, and determination to ensure the best experience for all Club members.
