Buddy Up is a peer mentoring program where senior UNSW students take a group of 10 first year students through 4 introductory sessions. Each session will involve making memories with like-minded peers and finding opportunities to get involved in uni-life, whether it’s sports, volunteering or student clubs!
Once you register, you’ll be invited to a Discord server with other mentees and mentors. Two weeks before O-Week, you’ll be assigned a group and attend your first session with a peer mentor and fellow new students. Through a series of amazing races and personalised activities, your mentor will help you settle into uni life and explore what UNSW has to offer!
That's fine! You can join online group sessions until you arrive and then attend in person once you get here. However, once Week 1 starts, all sessions will be in person only. We do this because its the best way to get connected.

Nothing! It's free for all UNSW students.
