Arc has introduced Arc Borrowing, a free service designed to help students access essential items for short-term use. Students can borrow things like vacuum cleaners, small appliances, tools, and more at no cost.

The service helps reduce financial pressure and encourages sustainable sharing within the student community. Items can be easily reserved online and collected with a valid student ID.

Please note that this service is for Arc members and runs only during term from week 1 to 10.

Note on Borrowing Time:

The maximum borrowing period is 2 weeks. To request an extension, return the items at your scheduled drop-off time and submit a new booking form. Extensions are not guaranteed.

Please be advised of the following guidelines:

Arrive at Arc Reception (next to Basser Steps) within your scheduled pick-up or drop-off window. Arrivals more than 30 minutes late may incur a penalty under the Strike System. If borrowing multiple items, bring your own bag or transport method, as none will be provided. If you can’t attend your booking, notify us as soon as possible. No-shows or late returns without notice may lead to cancellation of future bookings and loss of access to Arc Borrowing Centre resources.
