How to make a HTML website as an artist or designer.

The internet is a bizarre and magical place, but it has been stolen from us by Mark Zuckerberg. Will you submit to that focused-grouped, frat-boy, wannabe’s aesthetic principles? Or will you come to this workshop and learn HTML so that you can make a website of your very own?

Join Becky Heaton's workshop with Kudos to learn basic HTML. From commands to tags, links to images, get tapping away at your keyboard to build simple, scrappy, wonderfully singular web page from scratch. Just you, a text editor, and the raw materials of the web! This workshop is particularly useful for artists and designers wanting to dip their toes into the world of code to begin creating unique, one-of-a-kind web pages.

Becky is an artist and physicist who believes that the internet can be a beautiful place.

• BY GETTING A TICKET YOU ARE AGREEING TO DOWNLOAD THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS ONTO YOUR DEVICE PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP EVENT. HAVING THESE ON YOUR COMPUTER IS ESSENTIAL AS THEY ARE WHAT WE USE TO CODE USING HTML.

      Xcode allows you to push changes to GitHub through your computer terminal.

      Git also allows you to push changes to GitHub through your computer terminal.
