Following the overwhelming success of its debut, ARVONAM returns as a full-day cultural festival dedicated to honouring Kerala’s rich heritage and uniting the Malayalee diaspora and wider UNSW community in the joyous spirit of Onam.

Event Highlights:

11:00 AM: Guest arrivals & registration

11:30 AM: Inauguration Ceremony with a warm welcome, the ceremonial arrival of Maveli, and a traditional Thiruvathira dance

12:00 PM: Traditional Onam Games at the Village Green & Indoors

1:30 PM: Sadya Feast – an authentic vegetarian banquet served on banana leaves

3:00 PM: Cultural Performances – music, dance, and drama celebrating Malayalee artistry

5:30 PM: Chenda Melam x DJ Fusion – a vibrant blend of traditional percussion and modern beats

8:30 PM: Closing Ceremony & Acknowledgments
