Trying to budget as a student when your income changes every week can feel exhausting 💸📚 Between casual work, rising living costs, unexpected expenses, and financial stress, traditional budgeting advice doesn’t always feel realistic.

Join us for a supportive, practical workshop designed specifically for students navigating irregular income and financial pressure. Rather than focusing on “perfect budgeting,” this session explores simple and realistic strategies to help you feel more confident and in control of your finances.

You’ll learn:

💰 Survival Budgeting: Prioritising essentials during low-income or high-stress periods

📊 Managing Irregular Income: Budgeting around casual work and fluctuating hours

🧠 Financial Stress & Avoidance: Understanding overwhelm, guilt, and emotional spending

🎯 Realistic Goal Setting: Building small, achievable financial habits

🤝 Support Services: Learning about financial counselling, Food Hub, hardship support, and more

📝 Workshop Activity: Take part in our “Good Enough Budget Snapshot” reflection activity, where you’ll map out your own financial situation privately and identify one small, realistic adjustment you can make this week.
