⚠️ Note: The hike to Karloo Pools is a very rough and rugged 10km path. Students will need to be well prepared for heat and exertion, and have proper sturdy shoes. The visit to Karloo Pools or coastal route selection depends on weather and NPWS conditions. Guides may alter the hike for safety. ⚠️
Join us for a scenic hike through the Royal National Park, exploring the stunning Karloo Pools and Audley region. Starting from Heathcote, the trail winds through rugged bushland to the crystal-clear Karloo Pools. This the perfect spot for a rest and a refreshing swim (for proficient swimmers). The journey continues past a beautiful waterfall and along a ridge leading to Audley, where we’ll regroup and unwind at the historic dance hall café. 🌿💦
🌸 Highlight: The Gymea Lily should be in bloom, a spectacular sight unique to this region! If the weather is too hot, we’ll switch to a coastal hike along the breathtaking Bundeena–Wattamolla track, where you might even spot migrating whales! 🐋

The group will be split into 2–3 smaller hiking teams (as required by NPWS), with 3–4 experienced guides leading the way. Routes may vary depending on weather and track conditions.
