The Shepherd Centre helps deaf and hearing-impaired children learn to listen and speak, giving them the best possible start in life.

Join Volunteers United and The Shepherd Centre for a relaxed, creative session writing donor cards. You'll craft heartfelt, handwritten messages thanking the generous donors who make it possible for deaf and hearing-impaired children to learn spoken language - a simple but meaningful way to show gratitude to the people behind the Centre's life-changing work.


What you'll be doing:

  • Writing and decorating personal thank-you cards for donors
  • Crafting heartfelt messages of gratitude and appreciation
  • Learning about The Shepherd Centre's work supporting deaf and hearing-impaired children


Shift Details

Location: The Shepherd Centre, 146 Burren St, Newtown NSW 2042

Date: Thursday 22nd October

Volunteer shift: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Volunteers needed: 25
