Wrap With Love is an Australian charity that has gifted over 636,000 handmade blankets to people experiencing poverty, conflict and disaster worldwide since 1992.
Join Volunteers United and Wrap With Love for a relaxed, creative session where you'll knit squares and help assemble blankets destined for families in need across the globe — each one sent with a tag reading "A gift from the people of Australia."
What you'll be doing:
- Knitting and crocheting squares for blanket assembly
- Assembling and preparing blankets for shipment
- Contributing to a global community of over 10,000 volunteer makers
- Supporting people in crisis through something made with care
Shift Details
Location: On-Campus (Location TBC)
Date: Tuesday, 20th October
Volunteer shift: 10:00am – 2:00 pm
Volunteers needed: 20
