Kudos Collect is a new micro commission program. Kudos will be allocating $1,000 + five weeks of studio space at Joynton Avenue Creative Centre to an emerging artist to commission a new artwork for the Kudos permanent collection.
Your artwork will respond to one of the following social issues currently facing the student community:
Dis/Connect; disconnection between communities, passion vs reality, needs vs wants
Un/Sustainable; creative practices vs unsustainable outputs, burn out, fatigue
We invite proposals that take up these concerns in thoughtful and inventive ways.
Applications close Term 3 Week 3, successful applicant will be notified Week 5
50% of the commission funds will be paid to the successful applicant upon appointment of the grant, the remaining fund will be paid upon presentation of completed work.
The commissioned work is to be exhibited in AD Space Gallery Term 1 O-Week, 2027
