Sew Clever - Basic Hand Sewing Skills | Arc Savers Workshop

Want to learn or improve your sewing skills? 🌞 Join us for a beginner-friendly workshop on campus at UNSW Sydney! This beginner friendly, hands-on workshop will help you build on basic sewing skills to give you the confidence to repair, customise, and maintain your wardrobe!

You'll learn:

Repairs & Alterations: Sew on buttons, fix seams, hem trousers, patch holes, and mend tears

Sewing Techniques: Hands-on practice with basic hand stitching

Sewing Machine Demo: A basic demonstration of how to use a sewing machine for students considering renting or buying one

⏰ Time: Thursday 2 April, 2:00pm-3:30pm (arrive 15 min early!)

• What to bring?  Nothing at all, just yourself!

• What to expect? There will be a few light hands-on activities to help reinforce what we’re learning nothing intensive. No stress, no pop quizzes. Just a laid-back environment focused on learning and discussion. You’ll leave with helpful notes or handouts for future reference.
