  • Volunteering

SSI Kids Camp creates a safe and welcoming space for children from refugee backgrounds to play, connect and create happy memories.

Join Volunteers United and SSI for a two-day Kids Camp supporting children aged 7–12 through games, activities, crafts and opportunities to make new friends. As a volunteer, you'll be part of a small team supporting children throughout the camp, helping them feel included, engaged and safe while they take part in a range of fun activities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting games, activities and team challenges
  • Welcoming children and helping them feel comfortable and included
  • Supervising children during activities, free play and transitions
  • Supporting crafts, soccer and other camp activities
  • Helping children participate, connect and have fun

A full Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for this shift. You will not be able to volunteer until you have received your full WWCC and provided it to Arc for validation. A WWCC Application Number alone is not sufficient for this shift.
