Get In Touch

The Postgraduate Council (PGC), in collaboration with the Graduate Research School (GRS), have been holding the Research Awards for a number of years and we continue to be amazed by the quantity and quality of nominations we receive. This year, we received over 200 outstanding nominations, from research candidates, research supervisors, and for the first time, research professional staff.

Nominations were assessed using prodigious and rigorously fair assessment criteria. We would like to thank the PGC Research Committee for their commitment and for volunteering countless hours to assess applications, with special thanks to Anthony Sunjaya, the PGC Research Vice-President and Dana Tribbia, the PGC Research Committee Liaison, for leading this venture.

The PGC would like to sincerely thank Prof. Jonathan Morris and Prof. Penny Martens from the GRS for the continued financial and collaborative support of the Arc PGC Research Awards. We would also like to sincerely thank Prof. Attila Brungs, who has shown sincere support for the collaborative efforts between our offices, marking the first attendance of a Vice-Chancellor at a PGC meeting. Last, but not least, thank you to Arc and the Roundhouse for hosting us as always. Arc has constantly shown support for the PGC in all of its ventures, events and programs, including this one.

The complete livestream of the Arc PGC Research Awards 2022 and photography from the ceremony can viewed via the UNSW PGC Facebook page.
