Postgraduate Lounge

Features and Access

Located along Gate Five Avenue, and open on weekdays from 7 am to 7 pm, the Postgraduate Lounge features:

  • Bookable private meeting rooms
  • Microwave, sandwich press, sink, tea and coffee
  • Desks with integrated power outlets
  • Plasma TV with DVD/MP3 capabilities
  • Board games can be borrowed from Arc Clubs Space

Access via your student ID card is provided for all new postgraduate Arc members in Week 2 of each term. If you've recently become a member of Arc and wish to gain immediate access, kindly reach out to Arc Reception to request access for your zID.

Meeting Room Bookings

Meeting rooms must be booked in advance via the following steps:

1. Send a calendar meeting invitation to either pgc.meetroom1@arc.unsw.edu.au or pgc.meetroom2@arc.unsw.edu.au to book the room. Please keep your bookings to 2-hour blocks to ensure access and opportunity for all students.

2. The Meeting Room will automatically accept the meeting invitation if it is available. It will decline if not available.

3. Contact ceo.admin@arc.unsw.edu.au if any issues.

Postgraduate Study Space

Features

Located in the Main Library on Level 4, and open during regular opening hours, the Postgraduate Study Space has a range of individual and collaborative study choices with:

  • Study desks
  • Computers
  • Printers
  • Device charging lockers
  • A designated eating area including kitchenette and microwave

Access and Bookings

For postgraduate students only via swiping your UNSW ID card.

You can make a booking to reserve a desk, computer, or study room. Study rooms are equipped with whiteboards and two rooms with LCD screens. Check individual room details when booking for current capacity, specific furniture and equipment availability.
