Why be a Volunteers United Partner Organisation?

Volunteers United collaborates with partner organisations to design and run volunteering events for UNSW students. Our partner organisations are extremely important to us. Without their support, we would not be able to maximise our reach and make such meaningful impact. We aim to create long-lasting connections with our partners to bring value to our student volunteers.

Volunteers United partners with a range of organisations so that we can make a difference in many areas, as our student volunteers have a diverse range of skills, experiences, and passions. Please note that Volunteers United does not do fundraising. Instead, our students donate their time and energy into helping our partner organisations.

All partner organisations need to:

  • Be a not-for-profit organisation or looking for volunteers for large scale events, festivals and fairs (eg Vivid, Sydney Marathon)
  • Provide volunteers with a role which will make a positive contribution to the community in Sydney or beyond
  • Support volunteers by ensuring they have a safe place to work, opportunities to learn and develop and adequate training and supervision to achieve success.

Some of our current partner organisations include:

Kids With Cancer Foundation
