Kudos in collaboration with Cement Fondu presents Unearthing x Kudos, an online exhibition of digital works by UNSW students and recent graduates in response to the work of Atong Atem.

Collectively, the artists and Atem’s works draw on themes across self-portraiture, self-expression, poetics and diaspora. Confronting experiences of selfhood and personal identities in the context of our current turbulent epoch, these artists expose their desires for the future.

Available on the Cement Fondu website from October 14 for a limited period, the digital exhibition will move us towards a shared cathartic Unearthing. This program is hosted within a broader series of digital programs responding to Atem’s work, in lieu of her COVID-19 postponed solo exhibition at Cement Fondu.
