What was your favorite part about being a student coordinator?

I think my favourite part of it all was being able to see the enthusiasm of students to help others in any way they can, big and small, and having the opportunity to help them achieve that! I got to put together new events and initiatives that helped students find a way to use their skills and keenness to be of help and support to not-for-profits and charities and, in a way, unlock that deep-rooted passion for service.

Hopeful, and reasonably anxious — so many good things ahead and I only hope I can do a little better than good!

'Rosas' by Gab Pangilinan — it’s a Filipino song from the presidential campaign of Former Vice President Leni Robredo that has a line that I think resonates pretty well; (translated) “I know what I can do, I know what I cannot — but I know what I need to do to be of service…. I cannot promise a rose-filled world for you, I cannot light all the dark corners, but I will persevere and work tirelessly until you can say you are proud of yourself.”

The Producers, they’re just a good and wholesome bunch that did amazing work this year.

What was your favorite part about being a student coordinator?

My favourite part about being a student coordinator is meeting heaps of new people and volunteers across the entire year and being able to look back and see how far I have grown as a person and a coordinator. There were goals that I personally wanted to achieve at the beginning of 2023 which I’m so glad I got to tick off.

What was your favorite part about being a student coordinator

Definitely knowing that I’m making a difference and doing a whole lot of good out in the world - seeing how people have their days brightened by the things we do and that we do that for hundreds of students every week is what makes the job all worth it.

Phil! Fun-a-thon was a highlight of the year and to be a part of organising that would be awesome!

What was your favorite part about being a student coordinator?

My favourite part about being a student coordinator is having the ability to make a positive impact on campus and overall being able to contribute to making student life better at UNSW; whilst crossing paths with people I'm thankful to have met through this role, especially those I consider to be life-long friends. I've also enjoyed being able to inform students about

Arc's Food Hub program and free food service while having been given the opportunity to play a part in enriching our diverse Food Hub and pantry community as the Food Hub student coordinator!

Personally, I'm quite optimistic and am overall looking forward to what the upcoming year will involve!

Program Wellness/VU; Fun fact: VU was the first-ever Arc program whereby I participated in their initiatives and developed a passion for volunteering!

Being able to bring a bit of joy to people’s days. (Idk how to grammar that sentence)

The people and the process. Spending a year to make a book and for it to come out as stunning as it did- gah- insane!! And that launch?!? That line? And seeing all those beautiful faces!?! Even more heartwarming! Thankful for all the cuddles that have been shared this year!
